Ossett Albion 5-2 Bridlington Town
Att 84
Second half collapse for Brid as game turns round
Bridlington Town started superbly and were fully worth their half time lead.
Mark Swales gave Brid the lead on 23 minutes with a curling 30 yarder into
the top corner and Ben Sherwood added a second on 34 minutes after Paul Palmer
had flicked on a Martin Thacker free kick.
It all started to go wrong for Brid 5 minutes into the second half when Sean
Hazeldean was given room to turn and hit a left foot volley into the far corner
from the edge of the box. Ossett grew in confidense and piled forwards and
were hit by 3 goals from striker Dave Diickenson in the 51st, 73rd and 74th
minute.
Brid still created chances with Wilson Swales, Palmer and Thacker going close
but it was the home side that wrapped up the scoring 7 minutes from time when
Danny Toronczak got in behind to add Ossett's 5th.
A dissappointing 2nd half for Brid after such a good first 45.
